Normal quarantine period for imported koi is 2 weeks – 8 weeks, but Koi Select always quarantine their Koi for a minimum period of 4 months to 6 months, even though they are able to fetch good quality water source from underground which is as soft as Niigata water, already makes their koi in top condition.
Their purpose of long quarantine period is to ensure their customers buying healthy koi home.
Therefore, their quarantine period really amazed me a lot.
Moreover, Mr. Jozef Van de Ven concept and priority is always keeping Koi healthily which has the similar direction and focus as JPD. I am proud of his handling ways.
